At Today’s Kids we will do our best to meet the individual needs of every child and parent. The environment will be one that promotes a fun learning experience for everyone. Through a structured daily environment, we will help your child develop emotionally, socially, and cognitively. Our goal is to help each child reach their highest potential because, “Today’s Kids are Tomorrow’s Future!”
In August of 2003 something happened that changed my life: the birth of Emma Claire Livingston, the first of my three amazing grandchildren.
After visiting numerous daycare centers with my daughter, I realized there was a need for quality childcare in Bullitt County. I decided then and there that I would open my own center.
My goal when opening my facility was to provide a place in which parents feel comfortable leaving their children. I wanted every parent to know that his or her child would receive the best possible care — the same care that I expect for my own grandchildren.
Today’s Kids has since served the families of Bullitt County for 16 years. We succeed by making it a priority to set the highest possible standards in our facility.
Continuing education and training is fundamental for our staff. I make sure that every member of my team is CPR certified and trained in first aid. We also help them obtain a Child Development Associate (CDA) certification within 1 year of their employment.
Education is also a foundation of our child care at Today’s Kids. We are the only daycare center in Bullitt County that is partnered with Bullitt County Public Schools.
Our preschool program implements a curriculum that gets our children kindergarten ready. We work closely with the school system to make sure that our children are receiving every instructional advantage that we can provide.
In addition to making sure that we never stop pursuing training and education, I have also made it a priority to be involved with the community.
I helped bring CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) and the Center for Women and Families to Bullitt County. I have served as chairwoman on the Foster Review Board and I’ve reviewed foster cases for family court. I have served as chairwoman of the Bullitt County Chamber of Commerce and I led the KidsFest committee for several years.
I am happy to support the Bullitt County community in the same way that they have supported me and my business.
I want to thank you for choosing Today’s Kids to care for your children. It is important to me that you feel good about your decision.
